Ashley Branker

As writen by Ashley's mother:

Ashley is a four year old little girl that was born healthy on October 29, 2001. She was a repeat c-section only because my son was a c-section. She was always a happy baby. Ashley never really accomplished any milestones, except for sitting, which was delayed until 10 months old. We were concerned by about 8 months old when Ashley was not trying to crawl or move around. We thought maybe she was just not ready or a little lazy. When we had her check up at about 10 months old, her doctor asked if she was trying to pull to stand or crawling, I said she just stays where she is placed. He referred me to early intervention and Ashley began therapy at 12 months old.

Since that time, this little angel has been through so many tests I can't begin to list them. Through it all, I began to realize what a strong little girl she really is. All of her tests have come back negative, which I guess is good. In January of 2006, she was finally diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Although it was hard to accept this, we are glad we did finally get a diagnosis and we can concentrate on getting her the therapy and care she needs.

Just to let you know a little bit about Ashley, she lovers Bear in the Big Blue House, laughing with her brother Kent, who just turned 8 in July. She is definitely a daddy's girl and has the smile of an angel. Ashley's teachers truly believe she has so much potential if given the opportunity. We truly believe this therapy could make a life changing difference in her future. I only hope Ashley knows her family is doing all we can to make her future a bright one.

Please donate to get Ashley the therapy she needs to make this little girls dreams come true. She deserves it.
