The aim of this brief sad story is to solicit your sponsor for Bibi's Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HOT) in the United States of America (USA).
He cannot speak or walk at age of 5.
He suffers from a condition called Cerebral Palsy (CP) associated with disabilities such as: 1) speech disorder (lisping of unintelligible noises), 2) crippled with multiple motor disorders; (a) (i) Festinative, ii) Scissors, iii) Spastic and (iv) Tabetic gaits when supported to walk, and (b) Ataxic sitting. Also, there seems to be slight slow mental and growth development.
Prematurity seems to be the main cause of the CP disturbing Yenda Bibi.
He is the second of his twin brother, Yenda Taku, who is already in Nursery School. They were born by Cesarean section in their 6 months, 2 weeks of preganancy on Saturday November 10, 2001. Bibi's birth weight was 1,3 kg and he was the smaller of the two. They are not identical twins.
Local attending Physicians claim that CP is a permanent untreatable condition. Bibi's parents found out of HOT's success stories on the Internet on October 11, 2006 consequently making that diagnosis invalid. HOT is, therefore, a special treatment for CP - a problem that is the cause of millions of physically challenged children and adults in Nigeria.
Our spirits were weakened because of lack the financial means to take Bibi to USA, before he becomes older. Because of that, we hope that generous people, will attract more prosperity or make history once more by sponsoring Bibi for HOT in USA.
