Sruthy is the most inspiring person in the world because she is so happy and she has the biggest smile and silliest laugh that ever existed.

Sruthy is 5 years old. She was born, completely normal. She had perfect scores on her apgar tests, and she appeared as normal as any other healthy newborn. The 18th day she started to seizers with out stopping. She was hospitalized and with lots of medicine up to 3 months but nothing helped to control the seizers. Finally doctors suggest going for a major brain surgery. She went for a brain surgery (Hemispherectomy) when she was 3 months of age. After surgery she has been seizure free for 4 years but was left with significant weakness and tightness to the left side of her body. Sruthy was diagnosed with her left hemiplegia.

We really want Sruthy to made significant improvement in her gross motor skills and overall use and range of motion of her left side.  

I do hope someone out there is able to assist my little daughter in achieving as much independence as possible she deserve a chance to be as functional as possible on her left side of the body. It breaks my heart to know that there is a therapy that can help her make amazing strides but I can not afford it. Unfortunately to continue it we need some ones assistance in finding the funds.
 As responsible and loving parents, we will do everything feasibly possible to ensure that she has a life filled with happiness and good health. We will always seek to improve her situation through occupational, and physical therapies assisting in her progressive development. This is the story of our daughter Sruthy and she is truly a miracle child.
