Sneha is my grand daughter. She was born in Sri-Lanka (our native country) on January 19th, 2001, she was born with Cerebral Palsy. Every possible steps were taken in Sri-Lanka by specialists doctors to cure her. Finally our doctors recommended us to take her to United States, I after a big struggle managed to get her visa and fortunately she is in the US today.
At the moment she's attending PS 37 (special school for disabled) at Arthur Kill Road.
Her primary care provider Dr. Nirmala Vadde at St. Vincent Hospital had recommended her to use a wheelchair, walker, commode chair, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Her insurance (Fidilis Care) had approved all perscriptions, at the moment the school is providing her with PT, OT and Speech Therapy.
Sneha is the only gandchild I have, me and my wife are just enfatuated by her. She is our princess. We both are sacrificing with dedication to get this innocent toddler cured before we close our eyes.
Sneha can see and hear well, but she cannot talk or walk.
